Avatar Film 2009 Sequel, Imminent
Avatar is a 2009 science fiction epic that takes you on the year 2154 AD, on Pandora - a fictional Earth-like moon orbiting a planetary system. Humans are engaged in mining a precious mineral called unobtanium, while the locals, the Na’vi - a humanoid race who resists the humans’ expanded mining activities that threatens their very existence. The mineral they are mining is so precious, about $20 million a kilo, that ex-marines are hired as security personnel. In order to interact with the Na’vi, humans have developed a genetically engineered Na’vi bodies using Pandoran local Na’vi DNA and human DNA which is driven through a human neural link. These bodies are called “Avatars” and this is where they got the film’s title.
A Film That Deserves a Sequel?
Avatar, a non-franchise film produced, written and directed by James Cameron is steadily racing to the top of movie charts leaving awesomeness in its wake. On its first week, it didn’t show much promise until people have experienced the new Avatar Universe. Breathtaking scenes, excellent plot, super awesome effects, great acting and a movie adventure that will take you to the edge of your seat and is definitely worth watching. It proves to be an unstopable money-making juggernaut taking an all-time number 1 top-grossing film ever worldwide for it’s Second Week, Third Week, New Year’s and the list goes on.
Many film critics have rated this film highly giving it a total score of A-. Most viewers have rated it an A making Avatar Film 2009 one of the highest rated films ever. Truly, movie magic is back. Now, will this magic continue? Will a sequel to Avatar be something to look forward to? Or, would an Avatar sequel ruin the magic? Personally, a surprise is always the best. Thanks James Cameron, you are the man!
